Outlands USA Environmental Impact Report
We are continously striving to improve our efforts in producing socks that are sustainably sourced and support our local businesses.
To officially meet the Global Recycled Standard, we have designed our Outlands Made in the USA collection to prioritize two main objectives:
1. Responsible manufacturing conditions:
Our recycled socks are made by skilled workers who are an integral part of our towns and communities. They work in a factory that upholds ethical practices and provides valuable skill development, ensuring fair working conditions and high-quality craftsmanship.
2. Higher % of recycled content:
We partner with Recover™ to collect excess apparel scraps, which are transformed into premium recycled fibers. These fibers are sorted by color—eliminating the need for harsh dyes—then sent to our factory in North Carolina. There, they are blended with nylon and spandex to create durable socks with full arch support, a cushioned footbed, and a roll-top for extra comfort.
